This Healing Restorative Somatic Yoga will bring your Chakras into balance.
A gentle restorative Somatic Yoga combined with Sound Healing to expand your internal awareness. Breath work and affirmations for body, mind and spirit. While in your restorative resting pose you will receive Kundalini Reiki and sound healing. The movement in your body will create movement in your life enabling you to reach a higher state of consciousness and mental clarity. Recommended for individuals who want to improve circulation and decrease stress. Class ends with a sound bath with gongs and singing bowls. This is a beginner Somatic class.

Drumming and Humming
This class is ideal for individuals who want to learn strategies for calming and relaxing the body using breath-work and music. Drumming can offer significant mental, physical and social benefits, including enhanced coordination, cognitive function, and memory. It's a powerful stress reliever, and fosters expression through music. Socially drumming creates community and connection while physically it can improve strength balance and overall activity levels.
Breath-work and humming can help to stimulate the vagus nerve, which helps regulate breathing, while reducing stress. Humming, the act of producing a low, vibrating sound through the vocal cords, boosts overall wellbeing; including improved focus and concentration and more. This class is designed to teach skills that can be used to improve physical comfort and quality of life. All learning is facilitated through direct experiences. This class will be taught by Carol, who is a wellness instructor and certified in sound healing.
This class welcomes everyone and is neurodivergent affirming.

Deepen your connection to Reiki through the personal empowerment symbolized by the fourth symbol. It is the empowerment found in self-knowledge and the wisdom to utilize that knowledge with grace. If you have spent the time: practicing giving treatments to yourself and others, then you will be ready for this stage of development. You are making a final commitment to Reiki and its practice as well as a commitment to your personal spiritual growth. You will receive insights into how all that is taught in Reiki is interrelated and how it is applied to life. There is no substitute for in person instruction and that is why Carol holds many different support groups for her students including Reiki shares. Healthy Alternatives offers Remote Healing for Pets
Distance healing can be even more effective for pets for a few reasons. Animals can feel threatened or very curious when a new person enters their territory, which can result in them refusing the energy session or being very distracted. With a distance session, the animal does not experience the stress of traveling or the distraction of meeting a new person, which can result in a far more effective treatment. This can reduce stress on the owner as well, that your furry friend could otherwise pick up on.
Energy Work can balance on all levels - physical, emotional and spiritual. While it can be very effective in assisting an unwell animal, it can also be very beneficial for animals who suffered emotional trauma or who struggle to get along with other humans or animals.
